Most warranties exclude damage to bodywork, paintwork,
glass or headlights. They generally exclude normal wear and tear to wheels,
tires, exhausts, catalytic converters, clutch and brakes. Electronic or
electrical items, i.e. audio or car phones, are excluded, though some offers
cover air conditioning. The period of cover is usually 12 months, with optional
extensions for up to three years. Older cars will generally be offered with
just three months warranty period. |
